This checklist contains the scientific plant names listed in the report and an indication of where they were found within the region. Some species were mentioned in the three paragraphs mentioning species present when the area was noted for its "abundance of palatable grasses and shrubs of different types", the first paragraph being about the surrounding open woodlands, and the second about the grasses in the plain, the third about well-established herbs and shrubs in the plain. Some were reported in a description describing the species present when the area was in very poor condition. Those also mentioned as being present when it was in good good condition are listed as "& persisting". Another partially overlapping list is of species seen at the end of the study in a site near Boodhley village, which had been protected from grazing, soil erosion, and flooding for about 6 months. The study was not about the species present but about the impact of some conservation measures.
