Abstract: OpenHerbarium enables specifying parent-child relationships for checklists and for adding taxon names based on records contributed by individual herbaria. The integrated and dynamic checklist for Bangladesh takes advantage of both these abilities. Initially, the source of records added from GBIF were not included for the names individual taxa but the download involved is listed for many such records and in the abstract of the source checklist
The checklist should be viewed using the "Central Thesaurus" option to minimize the inclusion of multiple names for the same taxon. The family treatment is APGIV. The taxonomic treatment of seedplants follows POWO, that of pteridophytes PteridoPortal, and that of bryophytes the Catalogue of Life. Updates are made manually.
