Abstract: In reviewing the taxonomic treatment of members of the Datura stramonium clade (D. stramonium L., D. ferox L., and D. quercifolia Kunth) we prepared a summary of the taxa in Datura, revising the treatment of some taxa. We also added images and descriptions of the taxa to OpenHerbarium, drawing on published research and online images, to make them easier for others to find. In all cases, the original sources, some of which are behind paywalls, are cited. The listing will be revised once the paper accepting the name changes we are proposing has been accepted. For now, the names used are the currently customary names. Clicking on any of the names will bring up a taxon page in OpenHerbarium.
