Abstract: The book on which this checklist is based presented information on 130 plant species used in Djibouti for medicinal purposes. The book provides pictures, descriptions, and notes on the uses of the species described. It is the first publication to integrate botanical, ethnobotanlcal, chemical, and pharmacological information for Djibouti's plants. The list of species included is presented here to increase awareness of how plants are used in Djibouti.
