Abstract: This list is of plant species found in the Tehsil Takht-e-Nasratti during the winter, spring, and summer seasons of 2009 and 2010. Some of the names used in the published article have been modified to reflect current taxonomic treatments. The original article contains further information on life cycle, frequency, habit, flowering period and habitat. The Flora is interesting because of the existence of both hills and plains in the same area. The hills in most of the area seem to be barren but many are rich in grasses, Rhazya stricta etc. The most significant agricultural crop is the wheat which is not abundant, and mostly rain dependent. Aloe barbadensis is very common in grave yards. Weeds like Cirsium arvense, Asphodelus tenuifolius, Medicago liciniata and Silene conoidea are very common in areas planted to wheat. Among the xerophytes, Ziziphus spp. Calotropis procera, and Acacia s.l. are common in the area. Through this study, the 161 species representing 52 families were discovered in the area. Of these, 25 were monocotyledons and 136 dicotyledons. They included 23 trees, 23 shrubs, 103 herb, 9 grasses and 3 parasitic species. Of the 52 families, Fabaceae (including Mimosaceae, Caesalpinaceae, and Poaceae) was represented by the most species, 19, Poaceae with the second largest number, 17, and Asteraceae with the third largest number, 13. The region has high plant diversity. Many fruits, especially Ziziphus species, Peganum hamala, Withania coagulans, Monotheca buxifolia, Fagonia cretica and Vachellia nilotica are not collected due to non-availability of marketplace; other species are being overharvested.
